If you want to know when your insurance is going to kick in or how much money has been reported in on your LOCAL PENSION these are the people to call. If you are told that you are eligible for Insurance, you'll need to fill out an Insurance packet. You can receive your insurance packets from The BAC Local 13 Union Hall or at the address above. You will need to accompany your completed forms with:

  • Marriage Certificate copy (if married)
  • Spouses ID & Social Security card
  • Children's Birth Certificates and Social Security Card's copy/ copies

These documents are required in order for your spouse and child/ children to be covered.

If you want to know were you stand on your dues or how much you owe on your initiation these are the people to call. The processing office is where you send your local dues and your balance of initiation. Christine handles our Local and she is always happy to help you out with any questions.

REMEMBER: We no longer accept Checks or Cash so please mail money orders only, credit cards are accepted but there is a processing fee.

REMINDER: Monthly dues are NOT automatically deducted from your paycheck. They are a separate obligation that you are responsible for paying. Check-off dues are automatically deducted from your paycheck by your Contractor.

If you become more than 4 months in arrears you will be dropped without notification. Once you have been dropped you will have to reinstate. To reinstate you must pay all back dues plus $80.00 for each six-month period (reinstatement fee's can range from $80-$160 in addition to back dues). If you've been dropped for 12 or more months you will have to come back in as a new member in which you will be required to reinitiate. So please try not to get dropped because it can become very expensive.

You can pay your monthly dues at your Local Union Hall (WITH A MONEY ORDER (or) CASHIERS CHECK ONLY) or you may mail in your payment to THE BAC PROCESSING OFFICE located at: 1657 Commerce Drive - South Bend, Indiana 46628. You can also pay with a credit card through our processing office: #1800/345-8418 and speak to Christine.
